Tangyra projects
Tangyra
creates and participates in projects in the
following fields:

Culture:
- Trips to the various regions of the Finno-Ugric world and participation to the festivals :
2008 May 14-18: XXIV IFUSCO in Helsinki - Several members of the organization plan to go to Finland to take part in the event .
2006 May 17-23 :
Participation to the 22nd International Finno-Ugric Student COnference
in Yoshkar-Ola, in Republic of Mari-El =>
IFUSCO
Four members from Tangyra traveled to
the Republic of Mari-El, in the Russian Federation from May 17th to
23rd. Conferences, presentations and cultural events took place.

- Organisation of
cultural themes evenings to enable people to discover or to know better
Finno-Ugric tradtions.
- Promotion of cultural diversity.

Environment:
- Promotion of
environment-friendly traditions common to the Finno-Ugric peoples.

Economy:
- Relationship of
chambers of commerce from Finno-Ugric countries to broaden their
networks and to give more opportunities to local companies.

Social:
- Proposition for twin
cities.
- Promotion of volunteer work, especially European Volunteer Service.

Sport:
- Creation of sport
meetings.

Education:
- Creation of bilingual dictionnaries between Finno-Ugric and other languages:
June 2006: Tangyra has launched the
"French-Udmurt / Udmurt-French dictionary - conversation guide" project

- Translation of the website into new languages in the name of cultural
diversity.

Charity:
- Collectings for the more deprived regions from the Finno-Ugric world.
Projects are as you can see more or less concrete. Some projects are already launched and some are still at the conception stage.
